COMPETITION REGISTRATION

LFW continues to grow each season, creating a community of designers, stylists, makeup artists and industry professionals who shape this unique fashion, art and design experience that allows all designers to showcase their work to both buyers and clients.

Leicester Fashion Week created the Emerging Designer Competition to provide a platform for new designers to enter into the world of fashion.

Competition Registration
☐ Completed Entry and Release Form with entry fee
Competition Day

☐ Completed model release form and backstage access list
☐ A short written commentary outlining your overall concept including:
 Art and design influences
 Why your entry is unique and innovative
 An explanation for your inspiration of material choice
☐ An 8.5”x11” sketch of your finished outfit on white paper (copy or reproduction of original)
☐ Receipts from purchases of fabric and trim for your outfit
☐ Completed outfit

Leicester Fashion Week presents a Fantasy Makeup Competition. Makeup artists will have a chance to
show off their talent and compete in a competition where there are no limits to their imagination! We welcome makeup lines,
salons, schools and freelance artists to participate.

The Fantasy Hair Competition is an exciting platform for creative, driven stylists to showcase their talents. Stylists can challenge and promote themselves through their hair artistry with a fantasy concept. Competitors create a “fantasy” look, normally not worn in the real world, on a single model, with the emphasis on hair. Any colours or hair lengths may be used accompanied by attire that enhances the fantasy look. Props may be incorporated as long as the model can carry them
